Goodbye Rueben

Though Rueben has not lived with us for a long I am just as sad to hear about his death and to grieve for him along with the rest of the family. Losing a pet is hard, I just lost my cat two weeks ago. Both Patches and Rueben are together playing in the fields in heaven and curling up at the feet of God and the Angels.

Farewell Patches

This blog is a farewell to my cat Patches she has been my friend during hard and good times always seemed to be there when you needed comfort and something to cuddle. Patches after living in my current home finally learned to use the dog door and about a week ago did not return this makes me sad and mad also but the hope of her return is little due to the wild animals that hunt in this area. I will miss her and never forget her and still I hope to hear her meow at the door at any time. I do not know if I can get another cat for awhile for it hurts too much to think about replacing her. I hope there is a cat heaven for I can not think of her in any other place except for here at home curled up in a box or on my bed.

New Blog subject

I think I will start a book blog. What I mean is that once a month I will blog about a book I have read or am reading . I will try to stay with new books but I do often re read my favorites so those will probably slip in every once in awhile. Since currently I am not reading a book but I have two library books that are mysteries one is a Mary Higgins Clark and the other a Mary Jane Clark two of the three of my favorite mystery authors the other is Nevada Barr. I read all kinds of books from history to Mystery and Romance just depends on what kind of mood I am in. This is first book blog but will not count for this month since its really not about a book.

Pelosi and Poltics are just plain annoying these days

I really find Politics interesting and frustrating these days. Our senators, Representatives and even our president and vice president were elected on the foundations of democracy and the say of the American people are tearing down these very foundations in which was layed down by our founding fathers. They tell us those how are protesting the health care bill are unpatriotic. It like saying to John Adams, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, shut up you are servants to the British crown and there for have no right to protest these taxes. America was founded on one the biggest protests in American history second to the civil war and that was also fighting to free a people and save the union so I say to Pelosi and others who have the same opinion as her is tell all Americans read the bill understand its true ramifications on this country, write your congressmen and go to any these meetings you have a voice and it does matter. Yes we need health care reform but not socialized medical care were we the patient no longer in charge of our medical needs and cares. Those with friends in Britain, Canada talk to them find out how hard it is to get treatment and they even prefer coming to the US for their extreme medical needs when their system does care if you live or die. Remember this more Americans are not for the Health care Bill than for, the government just wants you to think that a small amount people are protesting it.
