Wedding in the Tetons

This was taken at the wedding site after most of the clouds lifted the one above was taken at Jackson Lodge where the luncheon was at.

In August I had the privilege of attending two friends wedding that was held at Grand Tetons National Park. After a nearly ten hour drive from Colorado Springs to north west Wyoming where I stayed the night just outside the park at a Hostel a different experience from staying in a hotel and definitely cheaper. The wedding was on Saturday I got up early and had breakfast, it was a very chilly morning and drove around the park and visited the visitor center before the wedding. They picked the perfect spot in the park for the wedding and then lunch at the lodge another breath taking spot and great for moose and elk spotting. It was a great to catch up with some rangers and families I had worked and known while working at Oregon Caves and to meet some of the current rangers who are working there and also to meet Derek's and Rachel's families and friends. I enjoyed both wedding and the park in fact I want to spend more time at Grand Teton National Park.
