A day in the life of a Ranger at Mesa Verde

A day at Spruce Tree House a Cliff Dwelling at Mesa Verde starts like this. Empty and Quite. But soon the visitors arrive and start exploring and asking questions.
This is just one cliff dwelling here, and this a self guided as ranger we give somewhere between one to four tours a day.
Largest and most popular cliff dwelling tour we give here. Can have up to sixty people on a tour. Talk about talking loud.

Another of the Cliff Dwellings we give tours of. Balcony House is a tour of up to fifty people.

Over at Wetherill Mesa a 45 minute drive from the other part of the park. We do a ninety minute tour of Long House with up to forty people.
