Well I arrived at Mesa Verde National Park on the sunday before training started and spent the next two weeks working, learning and going on multiple tours. After the training was done we were let lose on the Memorial Weekend to start giving tours. Scared that I did not know enough information to give a tour and also worried that with all the ladders and uneven stone steps and not to mention heat and elevation I was going to have emergency on my first tour. I am still concerned about the emergencies but I still continue to learn the more information I have to give to visitors both on the tour and when answering questions . Stress and extreme tiredness is part of the job but I love what I am doing and hope to keep going for a long time.
